Modern Interiors

Yes I remember that preference for Modern Minimalism.....from a discussion on The Bauhaus and a certain Kandinsky lecture.
Modern Minimalism brings about calmness, order, and security to a home. Yet there is space to encourage creativity. Which says to all a "wonderful comfort" for a family with two boys.

  1. I am planning to use a lot of paint in refurbishing our home. What are the new color trends? Seems I am always a few years behind!

  2. Good question Ann! What are the color trends for the future? Grab onto neutrals of the earth to start, such as B.Moores' squire hill buff #1068 with pale almond #951 for a soothing trim accent, your third color would be mesquite #501 its a gentle sage from nature. Authenticity from idigenous areas in nature. Trends are inspired by many aspects of our culture and with this unpredictable economy it reminds us to think back to the basics, whats real and authentic.

In review---once your neutral palete (see b.moores' historical colors) is confirmed an accent color is next. Check out pale artichoke #2146-40, orange blossom #2168-30, wild pink #2080-40, or wild orchid #2072-40. All discovered by nature!
